INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Before last November, Jeffrey Minor had been homeless for nearly two years.
He was among the nearly 1,700 people without housing in Indianapolis in January 2024. That estimate comes from the Coalition for Homelessness Intervention and Prevention Point in Time Count. It’s the group’s annual census of the homeless population in Indianapolis.
But eight months ago, Minor was one of the very first people to move into Compass on Washington, an affordable housing apartment building near downtown Indianapolis.
