Horizon House will use the grant money to expand and enhance vital & basic needs
services to neighbors experiencing homelessness.
INDIANAPOLIS – February 13, 2025 – Horizon House has received a three-year, $75,000 grant from the KPMG U.S. Foundation that will be transformative to the agency in its effort to combat and help end the cycle of homelessness. Horizon House will utilize the grant to expand services within its Housing Hub that includes 19 community partners dedicated to addressing the barriers neighbors face to secure housing. Furthermore, these funds will help secure essential resources & supplies for residents moving into our permanent supportive housing (PSH) program.
“Horizon House is honored & humbled to be the recipient of a three-year, $75,000 grant through the KPMG U.S. Foundation”, said Jeffrey Rode, Horizon House Chief Operations Officer. “This generous award will allow us to continue providing access to critical services for our neighbors experiencing homelessness through our Housing Hub with access to employment services, case management, peer support, healthcare, permanent supportive housing and more”.
The KPMG U.S. Foundation awarded the grant as part of its vision to increase equity and access to opportunities for all. Its charitable efforts focus on education, mental health, and community vitality.
