(INDIANAPOLIS) – Horizon House is set to launch its first ever mobile billboard that will bring awareness and access to program services, as well as create a method to highlight fundraising initiatives for those who are most vulnerable in our community.
Horizon House will have one bus wrap on the IndyGo route. The bus wrap will run from the end of June through December 2nd. The first version of the wrap will be advertising program services for neighbors experiencing homelessness, as well as the Hope is on the Horizon Fantasy Casino Fundraiser that is set for Saturday, August 23rd. Starting in September through December 2nd, it will then highlight Giving Tuesday with specific ways to get involved and give.
“The Red Line is the bus route that runs 13 miles through the heart of the city, through several neighborhoods, past major employers, cultural institutions, and healthcare and education facilities with frequent service,” said Jeff Rode, Chief Operations Officer for Horizon House. “The most important thing is that it makes frequent stops close to Horizon House throughout the day. This “mobile billboard” will allow neighbors from other parts of town to not only learn about us but also have transportation to access our services.”
