Indianapolis, IN — June 3, 2025 — Horizon House is proud to announce a successful community-driven campaign to collect underwear donations for individuals experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity. Thanks to the generous response from local residents, organizations, and partner agencies, the organization has received over 2,000 underwear donations in just seven (7) days, allowing them to better serve their neighbors in need.
Nash Coy, Community Engagement Manager at Horizon House said, “Our number one requested item in our day center is underwear. Being able to deliver on the item we are asked for the most is how we build trust with our neighbors and prove to them that we are here to help.”
The campaign was launched to address a critical gap for those accessing Horizon House’s services. With the support of donors, Horizon House is now able to distribute new, comfortable underwear to hundreds of individuals, helping to restore dignity and promote health and well-being.
Horizon House encourages ongoing community involvement and welcomes future donations of new, unopened underwear sizes for adults. Donations can be dropped off at the Horizon House main office, arranged through partner organizations, or visiting their Amazon Wishlist.
