Indianapolis service providers are working to prepare the city’s homeless residents for an incoming winter storm expected to dump as much as 10 inches of snow and ice across the metro area.
Officials and outreach teams are encouraging anyone who remains unsheltered to reach out to family, friends or service providers and get indoors, said Teresa Wessel, executive director of Horizon House.
