An awful year, a silver lining: COVID relief funds ‘fully changed’ Indy homelessness fight

A nondescript brick building just north of Monument Circle has become a haven for Kevin Wynn.

His roughly 250-square-foot studio apartment fits a small oven and range, refrigerator, microwave, sink, a small table and a chair. A tiny bathroom barely bigger than a phone booth is separated from the main room by a folding partition. What was apparently once a porch has been converted to a sleeping space, his twin bed overlooking a busy downtown street.
